Maranatha Christian University Central Library was established along with the construction of Grha Widya Maranatha (GWM) building. The establishment of Maranatha Christian University Central Library is an attempt to combine faculties’ libraries, namely: Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology, Faculty of Psychology, Faculty of Literature, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Fine Arts and Design, and Postgraduate Program as well as the libraries in the business units. Maranatha Christian University hopes that the establishment of a centralized library can provide a better service atmosphere.
Occupying the 6th and 7th floors of GWM and a total area of approximately 6,500 m2, Central Library provides a variety of reliable information services. Various types of existing collections, such as: lecture textbooks, reference books, scientific journals, electronic journals, magazines, newspapers, e-books, lecturer and student research, and internet services make Central Library as one of the spearheads of Maranatha Christian University in preparing competent graduates.
